One of the things I want to do more of this new year is snowshoeing. Not only is this rapidly growing sport great exercise but it’s a wonderful chance to…well…to go somewhere and do something! That sounds obvious but as I’ve said before, sometimes we get so wrapped up in our own crazy lives that we forget about the world around us and it’s invigorating to get out and reconnect with nature.
On January 27th, I had the chance to head out to Pike Lake with a friend to stomp around a bit in our snowshoes and feed some of the critters who desperately need food during the winter months. And oh my, were there ever a lot of animals out! Here are a few pictures from our adventure that day.
