While Saskatchewan gets very cold winters, sometimes the snow is slow to arrive. If it snows before the end of the year, it’s often not enough for snowshoeing. Well, this year, Mother Nature delivered…and delivered…and delivered again! 35cm of snow! Yes, in early November, just days after my last paddle, we were hit with a massive snowstorm. The city pretty well shut down for a few days as people dug themselves – and their cars – out of the snow. Here are just a few cell phone pictures from around the house.
As I said, this is somewhat unusual and it’s was hard to be upset. After all, with the amount of pandemic pounds that I have accumulated this year, I really needed to get out and enjoy myself so out came the snowshoes! Here are a few pictures from my adventures.
