This year has definitely been a bad one for paddling. It was either too hot or too windy. And by the time autumn arrived, the river was super low. But despite not doing much paddling this year, I still did paddle my longest trip down the river. It turned out to not actually be as long as I thought but the trip from Gabriel Dumont Park to the powerboat launch near the Broadway Bridge was just one more step to conquering this river.
