Pride Parade 2015

The last parade I went to was the Calgary Stampede parade way back in 2004.  Lots of white hats and ‘yee-haws’!  But I’ve always been curious about the pride parades that cities around the wold have started to put on.  They always look like so much fun.  So I decided to go this year for Saskatoon’s annual Pride Parade.

It was definitely a windy day though!  But it was so worth it!  Okay, there weren’t any horses or huge floats.  In fact, it mostly just ordinary people walking through downtown, but the enthusiasm for supporting one another was infectious.  I can’t wait until next year!

I’m thrilled too that the pictures I took turned out as well as they did.  Only the rare one was slightly off, but I was spoiled for choice this time.  I had a lot of fun taking people photos and I hope I get to do more soon.  (For more pictures, go to patriciagakis.com/gallery)
