Photo Studio Test: Pet Edition

In February, a friend asked me if I could do a maternity shoot for her. Winter photoshoots are fun but not really appropriate for a pregnant woman. Just before the pandemic hit Canada, I purchased some portable studio equipment which I had tested at the time on family but never for a proper shoot. Thankfully, my lovely friend and her husband don’t mind being guinea pigs for me.

The shoot was a lot of fun and I’ll be posting some samples here soon but I wanted to first show another little test I did. I love taking pictures of animals, especially my pets! If you’re on social media at all, @baileyandthelamb is the account I set up as a photo dump for all my pictures of my crazy critters. So with the studio setup in my living room, I decided to try a pet shoot as well. We also had a friend’s dog visiting so that was 3 adorable stinkers to pose for me. Well, I say “pose” but they were all too wary of the weird lights and giant white sheet but I think I got a few cute ones. What do you think?
