I’m not too sure what got into me lately but I’m a major craft kick right now! For some time now, I’ve been wanting to learn to crochet and I tried teaching myself but would always get stuck somewhere along the line. Usually it was while trying to do rounds. But I stumbled across and old crafting book of my mom’s and looked at the sections about crocheting. It actually made sense!
But before beginning that Afghan that I had wool for for years but couldn’t figure out how to make, I wanted to get back to basics and make yet another scarf. I bought some ribbon wool years ago to make a fancy scarf but again, I got stuck and put it away. Not this time though! This is how I spent my weekend:
I’m very proud of my scarf but this weekend, I also figured out the ‘granny square’ which means that I can finally start that Afghan that I’ve been itching to make. However, I know have ‘crochet-er arm’ so I guess that Afghan will have to wait just a wee bit longer. I’ll keep you all posted though!
