I certainly didn’t intend to use this blog as a show case of all my craft work but until I come up with more interesting things to talk about, please enjoy my handiwork!

This is the first blanket I’ve ever made.  When I first started learning to crochet, I couldn’t get the hang of circles and granny squares for some odd reason.  But I’m happy to have mastered it enough to make this small blanket!

Last night though, I completed my first project from a pattern!  It took some time to figure out exactly what some of the instructions meant but after a few attempts, I got it sorted out and completed my first beenie hat!  I have more than enough yarn left over so a may do a small scarf to go with it but here’s me modelling my new hat!
