There are two events in Saskatoon that are really the beginning of the holiday season: Enchanted Forest and Festival of Trees. I hit both in the past few days.
The day before and the last day after the Enchanted Forest is open for cars, the park is open for pedestrians for the Light Walk. I’ve always wanted to do this, but I was either busy, sick, or the weather didn’t cooperate. This time, the weather was lovely with just a hint of snow to make it perfect.

The Festival of Trees is an annual fundraiser for one of the local hospitals and is always a great success. This year’s silver screen themed event seemed a little smaller than in the past, but still quite beautiful.
