With winter around the corner, it’s time to start packing things away until next year. As much as I’d love to try winter camping again, my parents’ trailer had to be washed and put in storage. I won’t go into the frustrating yet hilarious details of the washing part but once that was over, we were off to Windy Acres to park it until next summer. My reward for being a good daughter was to spend the rest of the afternoon at Pike Lake.

Besides trying some fishing and geocaching, I had to go say ‘hello’ to my birdy friends on the trail. Unfortunately, they were all extra twitchy this time as there were some ‘young adults’ roaming around making way too much noise. Sheesh, they made such a racket that even I was getting twitchy! But despite it all, I managed to get a few decent pictures of the cutie pies!
