A Wander Through The Trees

Despite having lived in the city for most of my life, there are a lot of places I’ve never been to. I’ve been wanting to wander through some of the local parks though looking for places where one could do a photo session. My mom suggested I try President Murray Park.

President Murray Park is a 2 block space located between Aird St & Colony St and Wiggins Ave & McKinnon Ave. It’s notable as it’s one of the few parks in Saskatoon that is full of trees. Being a part of the prairies, parks often have clumps of trees here and there but not many have a dense forest appearance. Through the community association, I was able to find some neat history of the park which I’ll add a link to below.

As I wrote in my last post, the weather in Saskatoon has been amazing this winter so on January 18th, I took my mom and my dog, Bella for a walk there. Here are my photos from that wander.
